There are several options for this recipe to make it gluten-free. You can use GF bread, GF tortilla wraps or GF pizza dough.
Ingredients:
Pizza dough, tortilla wrap, or 5 slices gluten-free bread
1 small can of pizza sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 fresh basil leaves
1 tsp dry basil
⅛ tsp sea salt
⅛ tsp pepper
Vegan mozzarella cheese slices
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Lightly toast the bread in the toaster. Set aside.
In a medium pan, sauté the pizza sauce, garlic, fresh basil, dry basil, sea salt and pepper for 5 minutes or until the sauce is heated through.
Spread the pizza sauce on top of the toasted bread and then sprinkle on the cheese.
Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
